My name is Phil Benn, and I love Jazz music.  I’m also a Jazz musician, having played piano, keyboards and organ from the age of 8, with a semi-professional career in music until the age of 21.  I still take time to play these days, although work commitments and the hectic pace of life in the United Kingdom means that I don’t get as much opportunity as I would like.

I started this blog to share my thoughts, ideas and observations on Jazz music; and hope that it offers all who visit here an opportunity to discover artists and music that they may not have heard before.
